PoE 3.29 Allflame Crafting Guide

Direct, source-labeled answers for Allflame crafting unlocks, Dead Man’s Sulphur, Ducats, and intangibility in Path of Exile 3.29.

A fact-checked guide to Path of Exile Curse of the Allflame crafting

The reliable answer is narrower than many early league guides imply: Allflame crafting belongs to the Curse of the Allflame league, but Grinding Gear Games has not published a complete unlock checklist in the sources reviewed here. A player report points to clearing a boss in a special-area Chart as the unlock trigger. Treat that as a community route to test, not an official guarantee.

What is confirmed by Grinding Gear Games

Grinding Gear Games identifies Curse of the Allflame as a league with exclusive mechanics, rewards, content, and bosses. Its official FAQ also says that almost all Allflame items previously associated with Betrayal content now come from the Curse of the Allflame league mechanic. That supports playing the current league mechanic rather than searching old Betrayal safehouses for the new progression.

Official patch 3.29.2 confirms several live details around the system. Allflame Lanterns gather Sulphur, Allflame Capsules move loot to The Sovereign, Ukatoa’s Ducat has an Eldritch-implicit restriction, and Genteel’s Ducat received fixes for Elevated attribute modifiers. The patch also added trade-site search and filtering for intangibility. These are concrete current-version facts; they do not amount to a universal crafting recipe or unlock sequence.

What the unlock evidence actually says

The strongest supplied unlock evidence is a community thread from a player who remained locked after reaching level 91 and running Voyages and Charts. One reply says the player must run special-area Charts and kill the boss. That is a specific, testable route, but it is still one community answer without an official confirmation or a named Chart in the cited thread.

A separate Ducat discussion shows why generic progression claims should be avoided. Its author had completed a couple of item-level-83 Voyages and still could not use the desired Ducat crafting. Other commenters reported receiving unlocks without knowing the trigger. Those accounts show uncertainty; they do not prove that level, item level, or a fixed number of ordinary Voyages unlocks the bench.

A safe evidence-first workflow

This workflow produces a useful result even if the option stays locked: it identifies which exact action did or did not change the interface. If the special-area boss does not unlock it, the honest conclusion is that another condition remains unknown. Waiting for an official clarification is safer than inventing a level threshold, Voyage count, Sulphur total, or universal Ducat rule.

  • Check the crafting interface and record exactly which option is locked before running more content.
  • Prioritize a special-area Chart that has a boss, complete the boss, then check the same option again.
  • Do not convert one player’s result into a guaranteed requirement for every Ducat or crafting action.
  • Before spending a rare item, read its current tooltip and compare it with patch 3.29.2 restrictions.
  • Use the official trade intangibility filter to inspect items, but do not treat filterability as proof that a craft is safe.

Current limits of this guide

No reproducible in-game test was performed for this configuration, and the cited community threads do not identify every special Chart, every Ducat unlock, or every Sulphur cost. The official 3.29.2 notes describe fixes and interface changes, not a full crafting manual. Pages on this site therefore answer only what the evidence supports and label the remaining gaps instead of filling them with copied assumptions.
